So who am I? Really nobody and everybody. No, I am not trying to be intellectual. It’s too late at night for that. Rather, I am the everyman who works every day, doesn’t have enough money to do all that he wants but always finds a way to make it from check to check.

I got a wife and two kids, a little house and one-car garage. (Makes winters interesting as we fight over who gets to park inside).  So that’s it for now. I am new to this whole blogging and am loathe to give too much information. I might do it later. So check back.

  1. Ha. We have a 3-stall garage and never need to fight for space. Not because we have three stalls to our two cars but, rather, because the garage is filled to the brim with junk . . . er, I mean . . . stored items. No room for either car. Simple solutions for simple people. 🙂

    Welcome to the blogosphere.

  2. I’m trying to get CityLink to have Sunday bus service so I thought you may want to link this petition:

  3. Wow, I got a comment from an icon!

  4. Hi, nice to meet you !

  5. Dear Peoria Area Blogger,

Because of your concern for the Peoria Area, I would like to invite you to attend a special event our business will be hosting later this month. We are CIAN, Inc. and we, too are concerned about our community. We are a computer security firm brought to Peoria and run by a retired Navy veteran. We will be underwriting a briefing by Ray Semko aka the D*I*C*E* Man from 9-11am on May 26 and we would like you to come.
Ray Semko has over 35 years of experience serving and protecting the United States in the US Army and later worked as a Counterintelligence Special Agent for the US Government. He is globally renowned for his presentations covering the latest declassified intelligence information to military and private sector members to keep their data, organizations, and communities secure. Because CIAN is doing this as a contribution to the safety of our community, there will be no charge associated with the event.
In talks with Ray, he has identified Peoria as an ideal staging location for terrorism. Peoria is apparently what is known as a “tweener city” ideally positioned between two major cities. Although we may feel safe, living in the Midwest is not a safety measure.

While there is no charge, the event will be held at Mt. Hawley country club and seating will be limited to the first 250 people. So it is important that anyone wishing to attend make reservations as early as possible. Reservations can be made by calling 691-3000 or registering on-line at http://www.CIANCenter.com

Please feel free to include this in your blog or direct others to our website link above if you feel they may benefit from signing up for this valuable security briefing. Everyone is welcome! We hope you’ll come spend the morning with us and share this outstanding opportunity!
