Agree on the post about the 70’s T.V. stars. It’s really going to hit home with me when James Garner dies. Rockford is my all-time favorite show. I received some Carson DVD’s as gifts last year. Good stuff. Also want the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts but that’s quite an investment.

I could live on White Castle. Here’s what I want to know, why don’t we have a WC in a blue-collar city like Peoria?
As for the TV shows, I miss the Dean Martin roasts and the old Tim Conway shows. Stars just had a mystic about them back then that they don’t know. Remember when Facts of Life or Different Strokes or the A-Team would have a guest star and it was a huge deal??
Part of that, I think, is that we don’t have shows anymore. We just have reality crap that brings out the worst in people. It doesn’t celebrate human triumph as they want us to think but human failure.

I believe a White Castle is planned for Peoria. Why it isn’t here yet, I don’t know. Maybe it’s doing the wait-and-see-dance because of the economy
Jen – I thought about having nothing but ice cream for summer. But I wouldn’t be able to fit through the door and that would be embarrassing!
